Private View 28th April 5 - 7pmIn The Midst is a group exhibition curated by second-year fine art students from Middlesex University, showcasing their works developed conceptually and technically over the past year. The exhibition represents a midpoint in their journey towards their career aspirations. The show boasts a diverse range of mediums, styles, and artistic approaches, including painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, photography, video, sculpture, installation, mixed media, and live performance. The exhibition features a range of visual styles, including hyperrealism, abstraction, surrealism, grunge, expressionism, and hybrid styles, each with unique and diverse colour palettes. The artworks convey a range of moods, from melancholic grief to vivid emotions, and themes that touch upon the past, present, inner, social, and universal aspects of the human experience. The exhibition reflects the multicultural international community of people from over ten different countries, with each artwork presenting a unique perspective and experience. In The Midst offers a unique opportunity to explore the diversity of artistic approaches and discover emerging artists from around the world.
