Weekly Intermediate Level Classes
Tuesday 6 - 9pm + Thursday 1 - 3.30pm + 6 - 9pm £30/ 2.5 hours + clay These two-and-a-half-hour workshops are suitable for people at an intermediate level with experience of basic making and decorating techniques. Attendees must be able to work independently a tutor on hand to offer help and technical advice. Booking is flexible on a weekly basis - a booking invitation will be issued on Sunday morning by email to open reservations for the workshops in the week ahead. |
Weekly Rio Carnival Samba Dance

Get ready to move your hips and feel the rhythm! At Saji Dance, we believe that Samba dance is for everyone, which is why we offer classes for students of all skill levels. Our classes are the perfect opportunity to get a first-hand experience of the Brazilian culture and the energetic rhythm of Samba. Whether you want to improve your technique, rhythm or simply enjoy socializing amongst like-minded people, our classes are an excellent way to do so. Our classes will introduce you to the history and rhythm of Samba and take you through its basic steps. Saji, our experienced instructors will be there to guide you every step of the way, helping you build your confidence and skills as you learn. Tuesday 8 - 9.30pm £10 To book: [email protected] or 07947 86 32 33 The Lam style Tai Chi Form is a flowing sequence of movements lasting from 7 to 8 minutes. During each class we will learn 10 to 12 moves. This Form is non competitive and everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace. Tai Chi improves posture, coordination, balance and the flow of energy throughout the body. Tai Chi develops stamina, strength and suppleness, relieving tense muscles and stiff joints. The gentle movements make this practice an ideal form of stress free exercise for everyone regardless of age. It is a very effective and enjoyable kind of moving meditation, practised in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. John Keogh is a founder member of the Lam Tai Chi Association. |
Life Drawing Drop in Sessions
Wednesday 6.30-9pm Open/Untutored £10 Register of Artist Models [email protected] Book here Just drop in and draw! Easels and boards are provided. Paper is available to buy. There is a different model every week, and sometimes two! There will be a variety of short poses as well as longer ones. |
