The Lam style Tai Chi Form is a flowing sequence of movements lasting from 7 to 8 minutes. During each class we will learn 10 to 12 moves. This Form is non competitive and everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace.
Tai Chi improves posture, coordination, balance and the flow of energy throughout the body. Tai Chi develops stamina, strength and suppleness, relieving tense muscles and stiff joints. The gentle movements make this practice an ideal form of stress free exercise for everyone regardless of age. It is a very effective and enjoyable kind of moving meditation, practised in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. John Keogh is a founder member of the Lam Tai Chi Association.
