Full English An exhibition by Ruth Faulkner with paintings by Liam Buckley 7th - 20th March 2020 Opening night Friday 6th March 7 - 9pm
There are approximately 23 baked beans per tablespoon…of baked beans.
This recent work is a celebration of The Full English Breakfast. How does it feel to be a fried sausage on a breakfast plate, whose role is not only to be delicious but also a handy dam to hold the beans at bay? How does it look inside the vast belly of a bean? From the mini to the infinite, this show explores the texture, form and scale of what is commonly believed to be the most important meal of the day. Liam Buckley provides a selection of colourful paintings to complement the fun and playful sculptures. Making for a bright and breakfasty exhibition.
