In response to Covid 19 and based on government guidelines Islington Arts Factory looks forward to reopening with the following changes in place so we can operate in a way to ensure IAF users feel safe.
Reduced studio capacity to increase space between visitors.
Increased sanitising of surfaces in communal areas such as door handles, toilet, sink areas.
Sanitising of all studio floors regularly.
Staggered entry of different groups.
Staff provided with masks.
Everyone must wear a face mask when entering the building, and when in common areas.
Use hand sanitiser upon entering the building. You will find a sanitation point in reception.
No food or drink is allowed, only bottles of water which should not be shared.
Our café will be closed and there will be no communal seating available.
Toilet facilities to be used only if necessary.
Please arrive ready for your activity as changing facilities are not available, toilets are not to be used as changing rooms.
Maintain 2 meter distancing in reception and hallways.
Reception is only to be used for staggered entry and exit. If there are more than 2 people at reception then wait outside.
Arrive at your allocated time and not before. Early arrivals will be required to wait outside.
Please follow the instructions on hygiene and social distancing as displayed around the building to keep yourself and everyone safe. By attending a booking at IAF you agree to abide by these rules.
We have implemented a buffer time between daytime and evening bookings to allow our staff to clean the spaces, this is not for early access.
Please wipe surfaces you intend to use with cleaning materials provided at the start of your booking for your peace of mind.
Please aim to limit touching of equipment.
At the end of your session please wipe down any areas and objects you have touched with cleaning products provided, to help keep our staff safe.
Ventilate studios where possible by opening windows.
Hirers need to take full responsibility for themselves and those attending. Mask usage is at user discretion within the studios. Lets will be pre-booked only and numbers cannot exceed maximum (see below).

In these uncertain times please know that we aim to work with you through all the issues and concerns to provide a safe working environment for all IAF staff and users. We are continuously reviewing our procedures to ensure we are in line with government guidelines, it is important for the safety of everyone that all users abide by these guidelines.
