Introduction to Photographic Art

This 6 week photography course is aimed at beginners, as well as those with some experience. Our objective is to build your confidence in picture taking, and guide you towards selecting your best work for the end of course exhibition - primarily through group discussion as well as individual tutorial. This course is ideal for studying creative techniques such as, manual exposure and extra lighting, as well as looking at issues of form and composition. Assignments are set at the beginning of the course that allow students of all abilities to create a narrative series, as well as options for singular images. A relaxed positive class, that culminates in an exhibition in one of the IAF galleries.
