Flamenco
Level: Beginners,
In this beginners class you will be introduced to the relationship between Flamenco song (cante), guitar (toque) and dance (baile). Students will learn palmas (handclapping), footwork and body technique leading to a short piece of choreography at the end of class. All techniques wil be taught in the context of the rythmic structure of basic flamenco forms such as soleares and alegrias. Students should wear hard soled shoes and long skirts (women) or trousers (men).
£35 for a 5 week course.
