Islington Arts Factory has invited recent art school graduates, emerging talent and local Islington artists to exhibit their work together at the inaugural Autumn Salon exhibition, sponsored by Cass Art.

The Arts Factory received more than 200 submissions. The selection panel of professional artists was delighted with the enthusiastic response and the high quality of the entries. At least 100 works will be on display, and prizes of excellence, including artists materials and vouchers, will be awarded.
“The Autumn Salon embodies Islington Arts Factory’s ethos of creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to participate, and providing a launch pad for local and emerging talent,” says Eleanor Pearce, IAF’s Art Director. “The idea for the show grew from 17th century French salons where people would meet to discuss the arts and exchange ideas. During the Salon we will be promoting formal and informal discussions about contemporary art themes”.
