We currently have no paid vacancies but we have a couple of specific volunteer roles to be filled at the moment.

CAFÉ VOLUNTEERS:

We are searching for a number of volunteers to help operate our lovely café. This role requires people to serve teas, coffees, biscuits etc to our centre users; you should therefore be comfortable interacting with the public and handling small transactions. The café is an environment which offers volunteers a calm and cosy work space, with the chance to interact with the local community and gain skills and experience for future employment.

PUBLICITY VOLUNTEER:

We are looking for a motivated individual who can help rejuvenate IAF’s publicity department. You would work closely with our Directors of Dance, Art and Centre to create a new PR strategy. Duties will include creating and maintaining links with local press, database support, designing posters/flyers and orchestrating mail outs. This is an opportunity to gain hands on experience in a small but busy community arts centre, and is ideal for anyone who is interested in Arts Admin/PR. Basic IT knowledge is essential.
